The fountain will activate at the same time each day from when you first switch it on, so, if you want it to be running when you get home from work, ensure the first activation is at that time. It will remember this, and repeat.
Incorporated into the solar panel are super bright white LED's that automatically illuminate at dusk.In addition to the programmable cycle you can activate the fountain for a 2 hour period whenever you wish.
It is very easy to reset the memory function, turn the pump on and turn it off whilst the pump is running. This will de-activate the memory function by interrupting the cycle for example, if you want to go on holiday.
As a working example, if the first time you turn the pump on is at 9:00am, it will run for 2 hours until 11:00am. The next day, the pump will start to work at 9:00am. If one day you want to show the feature to a visitor, you might want to turn it on and off several times. After the visit, you may want to reset the memory function to start at 6:00pm. You need to activate it at 6:00pm, it will then run every day from 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
